Patrick Rummerfield

"I made a promise to God that if he gave me a second chance to walk and use my hands, I'd help others less fortunate than myself."
--Patrick Rummerfield

Walking proof that never, ever giving up creates miracles, Patrick is the first fully functional quadriplegic in the history of medicine. Injured in a car crash in 1974, he suffered four crushed cervical vertebras. Never mind walking again, doctors only gave him three days to live. Instead, Patrick—under the care of Christopher Reeve’s physician, John McDonald—taught his body how to move.

Incredibly, he has since competed in, and finished the grueling Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii, set the world speed record for an all-electric car at over 245.5 miles per hour, and run an ultra-marathon 155 miles across the Gobi Desert.

Patrick decided to work with Dr. Soudah to create Prosperia because he understands how challenging it can be to be plagued by ailment big and small. As a quadriplegic, Patrick appreciates the threat that UTI poses to individuals with limited mobility, and how important it is to constantly and naturally promote the health of everyone’s body.

Today he is a relentless fighter for the prevention, treatment and cure of paralysis. He is dedicated to developing therapies that include natural, scientifically proven products and a thorough approach to healing. And of all people, he truly holds the secret to the healing process.
