St. Louis company unveils UroniaGenic, a nutriceutical targeting recurrent urinary tract infection (UTI)

Urinary tract infections (UTI) send millions of people to the doctor and pharmacy each year for antibiotics and over-the-counter medications.  UTI's are common, recurrent medical problems.  Hani Charles Soudah, MD PhD is a St. Louis based specialist in Bariatric and Internal Medicine and is the co-founder of the Prosperia Wellness Research Institute of St. Louis, which developed a new, state of the art nutriceutical compound to combat UTI’s.  UroniaGenic combines the unique benefits of organic antioxidants and nutrients in an exclusive formula designed to promote healthy urinary function.  See www.prosperiawellness.com.

UroniaGenic's unique formula contains the ingredient chokeberry in the form of Aronia melanocarpa, a plant native to North America.  This plant contains one of the highest antioxidant values of any known berry.  The chokeberry and the other (patent pending) ingredients in UroniaGenic beneficially influence the inhibition of bacterial attachment to the bladder wall.  The UroniaGenic capsule features a specialized blend, which supports additional immune pathways to combat UTI’s.  The development of this exclusive formula will decrease the symptoms and frequency of recurrent UTI’s and promote healthy urinary function.

Dr. Soudah founded Prosperia Wellness with Patrick Rummerfield.  Mr. Rummerfield is the first fully functional spinal cord injury (SCI) quadriplegic in the history of medicine.  A high-speed car accident left Mr. Rummerfield paralyzed from the neck down.  Seventeen years of intense unchartered physical therapy strategy combined with self determination and strong support network enabled him to regain full function of his body and limbs.  Mr. Rummerfield stated, "The many days I sat in a wheelchair or lay in bed were a perfect environment for developing a urinary tract infection, which created additional problems and slowed my recovery.  These infections also endangered my life."

Mr. Rummerfield remains empathetic with spinal cord injury patients, "I see it every day: just as the spirits of someone with a spinal cord injury are starting to rise, an infection brings them right back down.  I wanted to do something about it."

UroniaGenic was designed for those patients at risk of developing UTI’s.  All individuals at risk for UTI’s benefit from compounds containing high concentrations of antioxidants.  Those who may benefit from UroniaGenic include both men and women who are disabled, obese, those who are chronically bedridden or have spinal cord injuries, and those who are in post-operative recovery.  Mr. Rummerfield and Dr. Soudah are enthusiastic about this formula.  UroniaGenic’s proprietary formulation contains high levels of antioxidants which influence the gene expression and assist in alleviating UTI symptoms.  Research studies demonstrate that the content of UroniaGenic’s nutrients exerts a subtle but potent effect on the physiological pathways in preventing UTI’s.  Preliminary research results using UroniaGenic showed significant improvement of symptoms associated with UTI’s.  Patients that use this new compound for UTI expressed great satisfaction and reported significant reduction in their UTI symptoms.

Prosperia Wellness offers UroniaGenic (patent pending) to the general public, hoping to serve those patients who require assistance with symptoms associated with UTI’s.  For more information about UroniaGenic and Prosperia Wellness, visit the website www.prosperiawellness.com
